Food for Life Vrindavan is partnering with Habitat for Humanity to give 40 families the chance to create real homes for themselves and generations to come. This new project enables families who already own land, but previously could not afford to build homes there, to do so. Habitat for Humanity gives a loan for 33% of the total cost ($800) which the families must repay through small fixed payments. The rest is covered by FFLV through the help of generous sponsors the world over. Since its founding twenty years ago by Rupa Raghunath, Food for Life Vrindavan’s dedicated mission is to provide comprehensive aid to struggling parents of our Sandipani Muni School children, with the goal of enabling them to become self-sufficient and empowered to help themselves and others.
